AlphaHuman Studio Standard
is looking for testers.

A Blender add-on that brings a MetaHuman into Blender with its real rig: DNA, face board, control rig, hair and clothes. Before it goes on sale, we want a small group of working artists to use it on real work for a month and tell us, plainly, what breaks and what is missing.

What you will be testing

The Standard edition, the whole of it.

DNA import

A MetaHuman's head and body DNA straight into Blender, with its textures, driven by RigLogic. One character per scene.

Face board and rig

The face board, a body control rig with IK/FK, a picker with mirror and reset, a face camera, and LODs.

Animation in

Mixamo, BVH and scene retargeting, IK bakes, and Control Rig and Skeleton FBX takes from Unreal.

Feet that stay put

Automatic foot contact cleanup: fitted to the floor, planted, toes levelled, on every take.

Hair

Grooms worn as strands or cards, with the hair shader and a breeze.

Clothes

Garments from the shelf, fitted automatically, with a hide mask you can also paint by hand.

Look

Materials and display settings, and a portrait light set up for the head.

Out again

FBX and glTF export.

How it works

Thirty days, from the day you first activate it.

What you do

Use it on something you are actually making.
Report bugs as you meet them, with a screenshot when you can. There is a short form in the portal, and a Report button in the add-on.
Send suggestions: what you reached for and could not find.
At the end, write one honest review.

What you need

Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit.
Blender 5.2 or newer.
A MetaHuman exported with its DNA files.
An Alpha Studio account with the same email you apply with (Google sign-in works).

Testers whose reports go beyond the basics -- clear steps, screenshots, real suggestions -- go into a draw at the end of the beta for a number of full licences.

Fair use

The beta build is for you alone. Each licence is locked to your own computers (two at most) and renews itself while the beta runs; a shared build does not activate. We use what you send us to fix and improve the add-on; a review is quoted on our store only if you tick the box that allows it.
